First, you need to know a few measurements about yourself. Mainly, Your height, Your weight and your age. All should be fairly simple to work out.

Open the app, Navigate to the Calorie calorie calculator, This calculator can be used for bulking calories calculator, cutting calories calculator or even a maintenance calories calculator, but for today we are going to be using to calculate or calories for cutting. 

Once you have opened the calculator, you will have the option to select your units of measurement. For this example, I’m going to be choosing Kilograms and Centimetres. 

You will then be shown 3 boxes to fill out, and 3 option to choose. Using your age, Weight and height fill out the relevant boxes. You are halfway done to calculating your calories for cutting.

Next up is your gender, Activity and Goal. Gender is simple, Activity is how active are you?

  • No Exercise Weekly = Sedentary
  • 1-3 Times Weekly = Lightly
  • 3-5 Times weekly = Moderate
  • 5+ Times Weekly = Very

You can be the judge of the scale, if you think you are very active, select very. If you think you are only average select Moderate or lightly. The next option is Goal. This is where you select what you want your macros to achieve. For today we are using the app as a Cutting calories calculator. So select Loss.

What's the next Step?

Once you have selected all these options, you are basically done and ready to calculate your daily calories. Click the Calculate button at the Botton Right. This will Calculate your Daily Calories. Great! So now you have your Calories for Cutting, but what if you want to break it down further to macros? Well, luckily, using this Cutting calories calculator, you can break these calories down even further. After a few seconds, you will see a Macro button on the bottom left. Click this to view the macro breakdown of your Calories when cutting.
